Hi, I'm Ellen
After struggling with my own health challenges and feeling frustrated by conventional treatments, I turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and it completely transformed my life. Acupuncture was a game-changer for me. I initially sought it out hoping for relief from physical symptoms, but I quickly realised that it did much more than just that. Acupuncture helped balance my body, reduce my stress, and improve my overall well-being. It was like my body finally got the reset it needed.
This personal experience inspired me to dive deeper into TCM. I studied acupuncture and Chinese medicine at Landsdowne College under Dr. Carroll, and it opened my eyes to how powerful these ancient techniques can be. I became passionate about helping others experience the same relief and healing that I did.
One of the methods I especially love using is cupping therapy. Cupping involves placing cups on the skin to create suction, which helps with circulation, muscle tension, and even injury recovery. I’ve seen amazing results, particularly in treating sports injuries and chronic pain. It’s a simple yet powerful technique that can make a huge difference for people struggling with muscle tightness or discomfort.
What I appreciate most about Acupuncture and TCM is how holistic and personalised it is. Instead of just treating symptoms, we look at the whole person, working to restore balance and address the root cause of the issue. Whether it’s helping with fertility, managing menopause, alleviating chronic pain, or reducing stress, acupuncture offers natural and effective solutions.
I love helping others find balance and healing in their lives, just as I did. If you’re curious about acupuncture or cupping therapy, I’d be happy to guide you on your own journey to better health.

Acupuncture is a holistic healing practice with roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It involves gently inserting fine needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the body's natural healing abilities.
By targeting these points, acupuncture can help:
Yes, acupuncture needles are sterile and disposable, ensuring both safety and hygiene by preventing any risk of infection.
Acupuncture is usually a well-tolerated treatment with minimal discomfort. Most people find it relatively painless, experiencing sensations that range from slight tingling to no sensation at all. The thin needles are designed to minimize discomfort, and any sensations felt are typically mild and temporary.
The frequency of acupuncture visits depends on the individual's specific needs and health goals. In general, many people benefit from regular acupuncture care, ranging from a few times a year to once a week or more. It's best to discuss your unique situation with your acupuncturist to determine the appropriate frequency of visits.
Chinese cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique that involves placing glass or silicone cups on the skin to create suction. This process enhances blood circulation, relieves muscle tension, and promotes relaxation. Commonly used for pain management and injury recovery, cupping helps detoxify the body and restore overall balance and wellness.
