My experience

I had a really great experience with Gennet in Prague. From the very beginning, communication was clear and straightforward, which helped make the entire IVF process feel smooth and manageable. The coordinators were exceptional always kind, compassionate, highly organised, and quick to respond . They genuinely cared, paying attention to every little detail that made a huge difference and helped ease the stress of such an emotional journey.

One of the big advantages for us was how easy it was to travel from Dublin to Prague. There are frequent direct flights, often affordable, and Prague airport is compact and easy to navigate. From landing to getting into the city, everything runs efficiently. Once you're there, Prague is such a welcoming, walkable city, with great public transport if needed. Everything you need clinics, hotels, restaurants is close by, which makes your stay relaxed and convenient.

I never once felt overwhelmed thanks to the constant support, not just from Gennet but also from others who have gone through the process including myself, as I’m always happy to offer advice or share my experience if it helps others. There’s a real sense of community and support, and the clinic does a great job making you feel informed and cared for every step of the way. Cost was another important factor for us, and I always felt that Gennet was transparent and fair. It never felt like a business transaction they were professional, yes, but also warm and genuinely human in their approach. That really matters when you're going through something as deeply personal as IVF.

I would definitely recommend Gennet to anyone considering IVF abroad. Between the easy travel from Dublin, the incredible support, and the excellent care, it was one of the best decisions I made on this journey.

Travel

Flying direct from Dublin to Prague was incredibly convenient. The flight was quick and comfortable, making the journey stress-free. It saved time and hassle, especially when managing IVF treatments abroad. Airport is close to the city. Aerlingus & Ryanair fly  direct from Dublin 2hr 30 min flight . We spent 3 years over and back to Prague and we found using UBER or getting a taxi from the Airport to the city was about €30/€40.

✈️ Airlines & Availability

  • Aer Lingus offers at least one daily direct flight between Dublin and Prague.

  • Ryanair operates around 3 flights per week, typically offering the cheapest fares .

  • Other carriers (such as Lufthansa, KLM, British Airways, Air France) serve the route with stopover connections, though not necessarily with direct service.

Accommodation

We stayed in an air b&b apartment in Old Town and it was the ideal location. The city itself is stunning, with its beautiful architecture, cobblestone streets, and vibrant atmosphere. Although we were there for IVF treatment it was nice to be there relaxing also after my treatment. I have plenty of recommendations for things to do places to eat in the city.
